Stay informed about your child’s day and learning progress with our advanced preschool communication App, Brightwheel! Also offering a convenient electronic sign in system.
In addition to careful, purposeful planning, our teachers incorporate a Bible based curriculum. Our GA Pre-k program provides a Bright From the Start Approved Curriculum to prepare our students for kindergarten and life skills. All activities are designed to target domains as outlined in Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards.
Our Kindergarten -5th grade students also learn to apply academic skills in real-life, hands-on experiences.
We implement activities to target social, spiritual, cognitive, physical, and emotional development! Our curriculum implements evidence based learning through play and hands-on activities. Since children learn best through play and exploration, our teachers guide children in play based learning experiences in classrooms that provide a variety of materials for exploration to build skills needed for life.
Remington Academy’s Mission Statement:
To provide a model Christian atmosphere to meet the individual needs of each child and family.
We strive to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment to promote developmentally appropriate, social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual growth. We believe these skills are essential for school readiness.
We believe children, families, and society all benefit from a high-quality early childhood program. We believe that there is a critical link between early childhood experiences and success in all other areas later in life.
We build positive relationships through our Christ-centered atmosphere. By sharing the love of Jesus, we encourage relationships among children, staff, families, and the community. We believe Strong Christian relationships are essential for the overall well-being of children attending RA.
Our goal is to provide a high quality and affordable Christian education for all children attending Remington Academy.
We are open all year to best accommodate working families.
Small class sizes allow for more individualized instruction. Children are taught according to developmental criteria rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
Purposeful planning and character building through social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and Bible based activities are parts of what make Remington Academy a high-quality preschool. Children are taught how to appropriately express emotions and use pro-social skills. These skills are modeled by teachers and administrators. Our qualified teachers strive to ensure that each child is given the best opportunity for becoming a confident and productive member of our community. As part of our developmental programs, nutritional lunches and snacks are included with tuition. We lift children up! By teaching that loving one another and respect and for ones' self and others, our students are provided a strong foundation for respecting authority and peers. These skills also lead to social skills needed to receive instruction for school readiness.
